01.10.2012 Using swept DPX digital phosphor technology, the SPECMON spectrum analyzer from Tektronix automatically scans its entire 3.0/6.2-GHz frequency range in real time to find transient interferers in the field.
It offers a real-time bandwidth of up to 110 MHz and can capture events as short as 3.7 µs with 100% probability of intercept.
With density and frequency mask triggers, SPECMON captures infrequent transients and saves only events of interest. The instrument provides built-in mapping, an interferer locator, signal demodulation, and automated field measurements. Common field test parameters and measurements include pulse, field strength, signal strength, EMI test, channel power, ACPR (adjacent channel power ratio), OBW (occupied bandwidth), and spur search.
SPECMON accelerates troubleshooting and analysis by pinpointing the root cause of problems in multiple domains. Its 10.4-in. touch-screen display allows users to analyze captured data in the time, frequency, and modulation domains at any time with correlated markers.
The SPECMON3 covers a frequency range of 1 Hz to 3 GHz with capture bandwidths of 25 MHz, 40 MHz, and 110 MHz. The SPECMON6 covers a frequency range of 1 Hz to 6.2 GHz with capture bandwidths of 40 MHz and 110 MHz. |
