The Avocent SwitchView® KVM switch is a one-user appliance designed to give you control over desktop and laptop PCs. It is available in a 2-port or 4-port model.
You control all connected PCs with a single keyboard, monitor and mouse. PC selection can be made through the keyboard or with front-panel pushbuttons on the KVM switch.
Though small in stature, SwitchView is packed with advanced features. PC selection can be made through the keyboard or using the front panel push-button. Automated scan mode allows each PC's video to be viewed in sequence. SwitchView's hot plug capability allows PCs to be added or removed without powering down the switch or other attached servers. SwitchView supports PS/2 and IntelliMouse type mice including Microsoft Explorer, IntelliEye, Mouseman+, Marble+ and Marble FX.??With only one set of peripherals, you eliminate the cost of purchasing and maintaining multiple keyboards, monitors and mice.
