Your motherboard must be on the manufacturers Quad PCI Express compatibility list (above). Not all motherboards support Quad PCI Express. Please check before ordering this card. Cables and Adapters

The break out cables are approximately 14" long and one cable is used for each video port (for cards requiring cables). For example an 8 port card will come with 8 cables and 8 DVI to VGA adapters. The end attaching to the Video card itself is much smaller (about the same size as a mini USB2 connection) to conserve space, and also has a threaded post for securing the cable to the card, see picture to left. The cables are digital (DVI-I) but come with DVI to VGA adapters (not shown) for regular analog monitors. All cards come with necessary cables.
